According to news reports this morning Facebook is planning on building a data centre in Ireland.
The new facility will be located near Clonee in Meath. According to reports the project will have a budget of around €200 million and will boost Facebook’s Irish staff numbers to over 1000. The company already employs over 900 people in Dublin. The new data centre will create hundreds of jobs during its construction and is expected to create around 40 full-time staff when completed.
