Soundwave is a mobile app which helps you to discover music, allowing you to find what people are listening to in a specific area, or using other criteria. It works with other music services and apps, gathering intelligence on tastes and trends, which is made available for free to its users. As Gillian Bates explained when we met her at TBEX, this data is also of interest to music companies and media.
Soundwave is a Dublin startup, which was jointly named (along with Trustev) as “One to Watch”, at the DotIE Net Visionary Awards last month.
