Startup Grind is a global independent startup community, spread across over 175 cities in 70 countries. Already in Dublin, this week sees the launch of Startup Grind Limerick, spearheaded by Pat Carroll, Enterprise and Community Manager for Startups with Bank of Ireland in Limerick.

The cornerstone of Startup Grind, says Pat, is monthly events which revolve around ‘fireside chats’ with successful local founders, innovators, educators and investors.
The first event is on this Wednesday, coinciding with the national programme of events for Startup Gathering. The featured entrepreneur is Chris Byrne, co-founder of Cashbook which was sold for $60m in 2000.
Early Bird Tickets are on sale until this evening and there is a limited number of 2-for-1 priced tickets available.
