Instagram and Twitter seems to be locked in a battle centring around photos.. or the display of them on social networks.

Instagram launched web profiles for its users in the not too distant past and most recently disabled “Twitter Card” support, as they seemingly want people to view all the photos directly on the Instagram site.

Twitter is fighting back .. sort of.

They announced earlier today that their mobile apps will now offer the same sort of filter options that Instagram does ..

So you’ll be able to edit and tweak your photos “on the go” directly in the Twitter app
