The new Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is officially launched in Ireland today, but it went on show yesterday at Carphone Warehouse Samsung Experience Stores in Dublin and Cork.
The Note 4 is squarely aimed at the increasingly popular ‘phablet’ market. While the Samsung Galaxy S5 and Samsung Galaxy Alpha offer a more mainstream smartphone setup, the Note 4 aims to provide big-screen productivity. It sports a sharper, 5.7-inch quad-HD display, an enhanced pen experience and multitasking features.
Available in charcoal black, bronze gold and frost white, the Galaxy Note 4 keeps the leatherlike and removable plastic back of the Note 3 but adds a sturdy metal frame in an aim to make the cover feel more premium. This phablet also has a 16MP camera, LED Flash and the heart rate monitor, which also features on the Galaxy S5, S5 Mini and Galaxy Alpha. Also present is the fingerprint scanner and Samsung have opted to embed its digital scanner in the physical home key below the screen.
The Samsung Note 4 will be available in Carphone Warehouse Samsung Experience Stores on all networks. Samsung Experience Stores are located in Dundrum Town Centre, Pavilions Shopping Centre, Swords and Mahon Point Shopping Centre, Cork. These stores provide the full Samsung experience, showcasing the entire product range including mobiles, tablets, wearables and Samsung companions with all devices being live.
