iPhone 7 is water-resistant to IP67, meaning that it can withstand immersion in water up to 1m, for 30 minutes. But what happens if you drop it in your pint?

Adrian Weckler, technology editor at The Irish Independent, just had to investigate.

He’s a brave man – because, while Apple asserts the device is water-resistant as sold, it doesn’t promise that it will stay that way. Significantly, water damage is not covered by Apple’s warranty.
