Speaking of Star Wars, via Buzzfeed comes a look at this amazing concept art, produced to aid in the production of the original films, by artist Ralph McQuarrie (1929-2012).
What’s amazing is the realisation that these pictures were not painted after the films. These iconic scenes were conceived in the mind of the artist, and the films were then produced based on these paintings.
