Google Goes Green For St Patrick’s Day

As it does with many other holidays and events, Google has embraced St Patrick’s Day by “going green” with today’s Google doodle:

Last year’s doodle was a bit more playful and featured animated Irish dancers.

In common with previous years the St Patrick’s Day theme is only displayed on English speaking territories so you’ll find it on Google Ireland, Google UK, Google Australia, Google New Zealand etc., but the normal Google logo will greet you in non-English speaking countries.

Oddly the US site doesn’t display it, even though some of the biggest St Patrick’s Day parades and other festivities will be held there.
