With “awards season” in full swing there’s been a couple of interesting developments in the last 24 hours.
First off, Damien Mulley’s Irish Web Awards have reported their biggest number of entries to date.
According to a report in the Business Post there have been over 600 entries so far.
Meanwhile the Eircom Spiders have announced that they’re extending their entry deadline..
Coincidence?
And to top it all …. both the Irish Web Awards and the Eircom Spiders are being held on the same night, in the same city (Dublin).

I heard a rumours that the winners from comparable categories in both awards will have a dance off at midnight after the awards.
It will be The Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny.
