mGrad.ie, Ireland’s newest graduate jobs website, launched today, giving students and graduates access to the interview questions used by over 50 employers. Its founder, Luke Ferriter, is our guest on today’s podcast (click the player above or download here: 11:21; 7MB; MP3).

The site contains step by step walkthroughs on how to get a job with prestigious graduate employers, from application forms right through to interview questions. The unique selling point of the website is that it provides ‘insider information’ for interviews, which is unavailable elsewhere.

mGrad.ie was founded by UCD graduate Luke Ferriter, who wanted to give students access to the kind of information which could get them over the line, in terms of securing a job.

“We wanted to give students direct access to the questions they are likely to face in application forms and interviews, as well as providing them with sample answers to demonstrate the standard expected of them. So we gathered data from thousands of students who have been through these processes and published our results online in article form for each company.”

The site also provides a number of other useful services for graduates such as a CV writing guide, sample psychometric tests, and a discussion forum. The company also aims to carry out career clinics in 2nd level schools, to prepare younger students for the jobs market.

Graduate employers will gain exposure to thousands of students and list vacancies on the site via their own personalised hub pages.

Technology.ie is brought to you by Blacknight, Ireland’s leading provider of hosting and domains.
