Nowadays, Ryanair is all ribbons and kittens, engaged on social media and trying not to “unnecessarily piss people off”.  Of course it’s nothing more than basic good customer relations, but back in 2009 they wore “Cheap and Nasty” like a badge of pride!  And when Jason Roe blogged about a bug on their website, he was personally abused in comments on his post, by Ryanair staff using company facilities.

Four years later, Jason reflects on the experience in a submission to Congregation, the Social Media Unconference held last month in Cong, Co. Mayo.  And he gave this interview to Technology.ie:

    I imagine lots of people are now working up a list of even worse stories to try kill bad news ;) Great to finally hear some of the story first hand -well kinda first hand.
