You might think the flying car is a cliché of 1950s Sci-Fi – or a silly, impractical toy for billionaires.

Or it could be a versatile vehicle with an 800km range that “perfectly makes use of existing infrastructure created for automobiles and planes”, running on petrol, capable of taking off or landing on just a few hundred metres of grass. Which could make it especially useful in developing countries.
