We mentioned the nominations list was out for the 2012 Irish Web Awards ..
What we didn’t mention, however, was that they’ve broken a new record
Over 900 websites were nominated for the awards by over 350 people
Damien Mulley, the awards organiser, was both delighted and a bit taken aback by the award’s success this year:
“We thought we might get over 600 website nominations but 900 is incredible. We don’t think any other event, free or premium, has ever gotten this. Now comes the task of judging all these sites across the various categories.”
Full details of the awards are on their site
