You remember Stephanie Roche’s spectacular goal in the Women’s National League, that got her nominated for the FIFA Puskás Goal of the year award? Of course you do!
If you voted for Stephanie against the nine other nominees, you’ll now want to do so again, because she’s through to the final round of three, against James Rodriguez of Colombia and the Netherlands’ Robin van Persie.
It’s the first time a woman has made the top three in this competition. The Puskás Award for the best goal of the year will presented at the FIFA Ballon d’Or award ceremony at the Kongresshaus in Zurich on January 12, 2015.
