This is stupid – and it’s funny. It’s funny, and it’s one of the stupidest crowdfunding ideas I’ve ever seen.
Blood Sport is a device that drains a video game players blood into sterile bags for donation, whenever that player loses virtual blood in a game. The aim is “to make blood donation fun”. It’s sponsors call it “the ultimate in immersive gaming”
Unsurprisingly, in the last hour, Kickstarter appear to have pulled the plug on it.
The page is still up, and you can still watch the video for a laugh! But, did I mention it’s stupid?
